This program takes a deep dive into dialogic reading techniques, equipping parents with strategies they can use at home to increase their child’s literacy development through asking questions, predicting, teaching the parts of a book, and summarizing content.

Parents are introduced to visual art, music and dance, and dramatic play. Parents learn how to use these activities to develop their child’s literacy.
Ready For Kindergarten
This workshops begins to equip parents for their child’s transition to kindergarten. Topics include registration, a Day in the Life, and a ready for kindergarten checklist. Parents also learn about some of the content their child will be expected to master in kindergarten.
