For over 20 years, Ready, Set, Read has partnered with Los Angeles schools to empower underserved parents to read with their children, building the foundation for learning and literacy.
Leslie Ozaki is one of the hundreds of parents who have attended our virtual three-workshop series over Zoom this past year. For Ms. Ozaki, Ready, Set, Read empowered her to use the information she learned in the workshops with her 4-year-old daughter, Kaoru. She said, "The workshops were very wonderful. I liked how they talked about the great importance of reading to your child and the impact that it could have on them."
We are only able to carry out our mission of promoting early childhood literacy by training parents to read aloud to their young children thanks to the donations from our supporters and partners like you.
